“Having spent the first 15 years of his adult life in investigative policing, Ken had his entire world shaped by the pain and suffering of others.  His personality was dark and jaded.

“Ken reached the breaking point on July 15^th, 2001.  That was the day that his son Matthew was born.  On a day when most people would be thanking the lord for a healthy child, Ken was panicking wondering how he was going to provide for this new family member.
