The agreement represents the next phase of research and is a significant investment in the science of the Archaea Active solution. This represents another step in our long-range plans to provide science-backed products to the direct marketing industry.
FutureCeuticals will serve as our research and product development partner as we explore various methods of delivery for the Archaea Active solution. This relationship will enable Evolv to leverage decades of experience in manufacturing health-related products, lending further credibility to Archaea Active. DALLAS, TX (January 5, 2010)—FutureCeuticals®, an internationally respected bio-technology firm, has signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with Health2o Products, LLC of Dallas. Known for their innovations in research and development of consumer health and nutritional products, FutureCeuticals agreed to conduct research on production optimization of the Health2o Archaea Active™ formula and proprietary manufacturing processes. In addition, they will complete extensive, long-range scientific analysis and studies in clinico for the Archaea Active products currently being manufactured and in development by Health2o Products.
Initial product research and in vitro testing has supported the scientific promise of Health2o’s all natural Archaea Active formula. It is believed that the Archaea Active formula is involved with specific cell signaling processes that stimulate other cells to take human health protective responses.
“The preliminary in vitro tests conducted last year suggest that our Archaea Active formula stimulates cellular oxygen uptake and utilization, and may also possess similar metabolic properties as those compounds traditionally associated with healthy inflammatory responses.” said Kevin D. At the direction of Health2o, FutureCeuticals will initiate advanced chemistry and bio-testing protocols utilizing high-tech analytical tools and published methods. The range of research goals include chemical and physical characterization of the active components within the Archaea Active formula, as well as ex vivo screening followed by exploratory clinical studies to identify its effect and functionality in humans. Studies will target cellular regeneration, oxygen and energy metabolism, and inflammatory responses.
