As I sit on a plane flying to Canada, I am humbled by the thousands of people that have trusted their friends and family in hearing about what we are doing and have taken a leap of faith to Evolv. This, my Friends is a historic time. Something special is happening that will go down in history. Not because we are trying to create a historic moment, or because we want to be recognized for the changes that are happening, the history that will be written is about all of us together doing something that some said couldn’t be done, that others don’t see yet and many others won’t see until Millions have gone before them. You are the Innovators. You are part of the 2.5% that adopts an idea, product or service before anyone else. You have stood in the long lines and waited for the release to be one of the first. There is no great company or movement that happens without this early group of adopters.
Whether you know it or not, you are here for a reason. Let’s look at the quick story of what got you here.
EvolvHealth was started by two amazing friends that found a product that was changing people’s lives and decided to get that product out to as many people as they could. They got passionate about getting that product to market and saw that the best way to distribute the product was by word of mouth: people sharing with people. Starting with their own friends and family, doing the same thing that each of you is doing, a movement was created. One relationship of trust reached another and conveyed an idea of better health and better wealth. The passion for one product quickly shifted to addressing more health issues and more innovation. They Evolv’d! Through long grueling hours, millions in investments and proving their commitment to their beliefs and to the company they were building, a vision was cast that has set the Law of Attraction in motion and, now, you are here reading this blog post.
Take note of this moment! Some of you reading this have been here for over 2 years and others are just arriving to the party. Our greatest success will be found in embracing new people and building a revolution, not just a company. Most companies don’t know why they exist; they don’t have a real mission other than to make a lot of money. Our Founders are different. They believe that success comes in creating something that changes Millions of lives and not the reverse. As you listen to them speak and get to feel their hearts you will know what I know, they care! They have a purpose; and because they were willing to do something different, challenge the average or the norm, we all find ourselves attracted to this revolution. The speed of the movement will be measured in the combined power or in each of our “WHY”.
We know our “WHY”. What is your “WHY”? Does your “WHY” include changing your health and spreading a message that will change others? Is it about being part of something bigger than each of us? Whatever the answer, I want to ask you to Evolv, and join us in massive action in creating the Evolv REVOLUTION, the H.O.P.E REVOLUTION.
The key to the future does not lie in the past; it lies in what is driving us today and the combined action that we take TODAY to make a difference. Why are we doing what we are doing? Are we doing all we can? Not tomorrow, but today. I am so inspired by all of you and the culture and community we are building together. You are an author with us; you are making a mark on this movement.
I want to pause for a moment and tell you that I know that everything isn’t always perfect. It may never always be perfect. Every company, large and small, has issues, growing pains and hurdles that must be overcome. As Trey White says, “we just can’t get bit by the same dog twice”. I have come to love that simple wisdom.
You, being part of the Revolution says something about you; it is becoming part of who you are. You are tired of living the way everyone else lives. You are tired of living without energy and without health goals and targets. You are saying, “Enough is enough”, to what we have been told and sold about health and wealth. You don’t just want to see change happen; you want to be part of making the change happen. You don’t just want to be part of the next little MLM company that promises a lot and delivers a little. I believe that at each station in our lives it is important to recognize why we make the decisions that we make and how those decisions impact our “Why” and ultimately who we decide to be.
This past year I have been making small changes in my health and wealth every day. I am challenging my old ways and old habits. I am changing the way I spend money or look at wealth, how to create it and how to retain it. I am Finally putting budgets in to place to help me better achieve our family’s financial goals. I eat better than I have in years, not perfect, but much better. I am proud of myself when I look in the mirror, and proud of what we are doing everyday. None of these changes were possible without this revolution and without connecting daily with all of you. Newton discovered that, “An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force (or outside force, something out of the ordinary).”
Sometimes in life, even though there is pressure we feel balanced, we don’t want to change. Gravity creates balance; the pressure we exert by standing is countered by the force of gravity that is holding us in place. I have been acted upon by all of you. You and your stories and this revolution are changing me little by little, nothing drastic each day but compounded over time, I see a drastic difference as I look back to one year ago. This is a marathon, not a sprint, it is a way of living and questioning the garbage we are told and sold everyday. Even questioning some of the garbage we sell ourselves think like, “I’m not good at this”, “this isn’t going to work”, “I can’t lose weight”, “I will never be that size again”, “I will just settle for who I am and what I have become, it’s no use”. We will all have days where we feel like that. I sure do. However, because I am not alone, part of something bigger than myself, I am winning and accomplishing things that I did not think were possible a little over a year ago. I have not made any drastic changes, in fact, to someone looking in, they might not notice a lot of change, but I do.
There is magic in this process friends. Allowing ourselves the time to change our habits, change some old beliefs and staying connected to culture and community that will always inspire us and never tell us that we aren’t good enough. We CAN do this! People need what we have! It can’t be about the MONEY, it has to be about the revolution. I am so proud to be partnered with all of you. I am grateful every day that I was attracted to this great revolution and these two AMAZING Friends, Trey White and Brent Hicks that started something great and stuck to it, even when times were tough.
Mark this day on your calendar! One year from today, your life could be changed forever. Whether that happens or not starts with you committing to make small changes TODAY.
We are the Innovators; 2.5% of the population that see something before everyone else. The next group that is coming is the Early Adopters and it is our job to find them. Next will be the Early Majority, then the late majority and finally the Laggards, 16% of the population that will always come at the end.
We know who you are and appreciate you and CELEBRATE you, as part of this crazy H.O.P.E. Revolution.
It is happening and they are coming; focus on you and your change and tell others what is happening for you. Find the people that want to change a little, a lot or, even want to do what you are doing. They are out there.

I love this time of year when we reconnect with family and friends and take a moment to reflect on all we have to be thankful for. This will be my sixth year celebrating Thanksgiving in this great country and each year my appreciation deepens for this special time. I know I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a great company. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be in service of all of our amazing Evolv Promoters and Challengers who are making such an incredible difference not only in their own lives but also in the lives of those around them.
What I’ve experienced is that Thanksgiving is not only a time of gratitude and appreciation, but also a time of reflection and renewal. Often we think of the New Year as a time for new beginnings and making New Year’s resolutions, however, I’ve really felt a resurgence of energy and dreams at this special time of year as well. Perhaps it’s being around loved ones or reading messages of appreciation and hope that has me think about the future and what we can start now. So that at Thanksgiving 2012 we will be expressing gratitude for the new steps that we have taken beginning at Thanksgiving 2011.
The e84 Challenge is a perfect way to begin. It will also help you to not fall into the weight gain trap that so many people fall into during the holiday season. Use the Challenge and the products to help you stay on track with your goals even with a little indulgence thrown in there. If you know you’re going to be having an extra large meal then begin the day with a low calorie nutritious Evolv shake, at only roughly 100 calories each it gives you the perfect nutrition to begin your day and leaves room for a little extra later on. I love reading the stories and Facebook posts of the success stories happening with our e84 Challenge. I recently spent some time with the last e84 BURN Challenge winner, LeeAnn Beckwith and wow has this woman’s life dramatically changed for the better as a result of the e84 Challenge.
